Inclusiv-IT was born from a vision to fill gaps in IT recruitment, particularly by elevating representation in technology roles, with a strong emphasis on empowering women in the industry.

I am Afua. With 20 years of experience in engineering, sales and leadership development, I’ve developed a passion for building high-performing teams that value diversity and inclusion.

My mission is to identify exceptional professionals who may not have extensive networks or fit the traditional mold. The joy of connecting these dedicated individuals with employers and witnessing their impact is unparalleled. It's rewarding when hiring managers are astonished by the talent I introduce.

Beyond work, I write, mentor young Black female professionals, and speak on leadership and inclusion. To stay balanced, I enjoy beach days, weightlifting, and family brunches.

I aspire to create a world where choices are made based on values rather than circumstances—a vision inspired by my Ghanaian heritage and first-generation Canadian identity. Watching my parents' resilience in the job market instilled in me the importance of community and values-driven decisions.

I'm Elsa, and my path to founding DigiWomen began with a mission to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Observing the stark underrepresentation of women in tech, especially in leadership roles, propelled me to create platforms promoting inclusivity and diversity. I believe that innovation thrives alongside equity, and by valuing everyone, we can build a fairer future.

My passion lies in the tangible impact on people's careers. Through mentoring, coaching, or helping companies foster inclusive teams, I'm driven to enact positive change within the tech industry. I'm particularly committed to empowering women in tech to take on leadership positions and celebrate their achievements.

One story that reflects my philosophy involves mentoring a talented young woman who struggled to find her place in the male-dominated tech sector.
